PAVIS Payments GmbH is a BaFin-licensed payment institution based in Starnberg, Germany. It was set up as a subsidiary of IP renewal service PAVIS GmbH. Once a client orders annuity or renewal fee payments through PAVIS, PAVIS tells PAVIS Payments to send the money on the client's behalf to patent and trademark offices around the world. The service is also available to clients of other IP service providers. It is not a card acquirer or checkout provider for merchants.
