Numia is an Italian card-payments (monetica) company and authorised electronic money institution that works with partner banks, mainly Iccrea group BCC banks and Banco BPM. On the acquiring side it offers traditional POS, virtual POS, SmartPOS and Soft POS, along with SmartPOS apps for things like sending receipts to the tax authority and running loyalty programmes. It also issues debit, credit and prepaid cards and manages ATMs. For BCC customers, merchant acceptance is sold under the CartaBCC POS brand.
